Job summary

Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center PACU in Charlotte, NC seeks a Registered Nurse to join our fast‑paced Post‑Anesthesia Care Unit. This PRN, part‑time role provides high‑acuity recovery care for surgery patients in a Level I Trauma Center, with variable hours including days and nights.

Ideal candidates have an accredited nursing program, RN license, BLS, and ACLS/PALS preferred, plus at least one year in critical care or PACU.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• ACLS and PALS strongly preferred.
• At least one year of critical care, ED or PACU experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process in PACU.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care per standards, policies and procedures.
