Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to care for post-operative patients in the PACU CSC at Cox Surgery Center, Springfield, MO. You will monitor anesthesia recovery, assess pain, document care, and ensure airway patency and stability across all ages.

The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, leadership, and adaptability in a fast-paced post-anesthesia setting. Requires Missouri RN license; day shift 0600–1830, 36 weekly hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license active in Missouri.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-operative care to patients of all ages recovering from anesthesia.
• Evaluate care plans, implement and document nursing care, and assess pain.
• Maintain hemodynamic stability and patent airway; monitor patient condition continuously.
• Demonstrate effective communication and leadership in PACU.
