Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit South. The role oversees patient care for medical and post-surgical cases, including assessment, medications, dressings, vitals, and patient/family education.

The position offers night shifts, Monday-Thursday, with no weekends or on-call, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus and relocation support. BLS within 90 days; BSN preferred; prior nursing experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Experience: Previous nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse is responsible for managing the care of patients experiencing medical conditions or surgical procedures, assessing condition, administering medications, changing dressings, monitoring vital signs, maintaining records and educating patients and families.
