Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO is hiring a Registered Nurse to manage patient care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit South. You will assess patients, administer medications, monitor vitals, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe recovery after surgery. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• RN license active in Missouri.
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage the care of patients with medical conditions or undergoing surgical procedures.
• Assess patient condition and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and change dressings.
• Keep detailed records and provide patient and family education.
• Maintain a broad medical knowledge to care for diverse patients.
