CoxHealth South in Springfield, Missouri is seeking a perioperative nurse to deliver comprehensive surgical care before, during, and after operations. You will assess patients, maintain a sterile environment, and educate patients across age groups with a focus on safety and quality outcomes.

The role supports the 1056 Operating Room South department, with a day shift and a 32-hour weekly schedule. MO RN licensure and BLS are required, with the potential for growth within a leading regional

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active Missouri RN license.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Perioperative or surgical care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan and deliver nursing care before, during and after surgery.
• Maintain sterile, safe surgical environment and equipment.
• Provide pre- and post-operative patient education and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with surgical team, anesthesia and other department staff to coordinate care.
