Job summary

HCA Florida West Hospital is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to provide immediate post-operative care for surgical patients. You will manage airway support, monitor neurological and cardiac status, and respond to complications, with initial wound care and collaboration with the surgical and anesthesia teams.

This role includes on-call availability during select non-business hours, salary commensurate with experience, and opportunities to work with a supportive leadership team and staffing

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• RN license/registration in good standing.
• Associate Degree or RN Diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while applying evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including providers and therapy staff.
• Consistently apply nursing process, clinical judgement, and leadership to deliver safe care.
• Assess patient condition, monitor continuously, and document changes.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and follow-up.
