Job summary

HCA Florida JFK Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse for the PACU to oversee immediate post-operative care, airway support, and neurological monitoring. You will work with the surgical and anesthesia teams to maintain patient stability and respond to complications.

On-call hours may apply and relocation support is not specified. The role requires a Florida RN license (or compact licensure), BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least one year PACU/ICU experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Florida RN license or compact licensure.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; advanced certifications (e.g. CEN, TNCC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in post-anesthesia care unit.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety.
• Conduct continuous assessment and document changes in patient condition.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment and follow-up.
