HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to provide critical post-operative care. You will manage airway support, monitor neurological and cardiac status, and respond to complications while collaborating with the surgical and anesthesia teams.

The role includes on-call availability during select non-business hours, and opportunities to participate in hospital councils and nursing initiatives within a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifikationen

• RN license required or pending licensure
• ACLS and PALS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PACU experience preferred and helpful for transition to unit

Aufgaben

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the post-anesthesia setting
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia team, and interprofessional staff
• Apply nursing process, clinical judgment, and leadership to deliver safe perioperative care
• Assess patient condition, monitor during recovery, and document changes thoroughly
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and follow-up measures
