Job summary

Working Nurse in Los Angeles is seeking a Clinical Staff Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care under the Clinical Unit Supervisor. The role involves 12-hour shifts and accountability for a defined patient group using the Watson Model of Care.

Qualifications include a BSN, CA RN license, 1 year CCU or acute care experience, and BLS/ACLS certifications; Spanish bilingual skills are preferred. This position is based at MLK Community Healthcare in LA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Sciences degree in nursing; those hired without a BSN must complete a degree program within 5 years of hire
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience in Critical Care; new to the specialty require 1 year acute care experience
• Current California Nursing license; California RN license required
• Bilingual Spanish skills preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Basic computer skills; EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, individualized patient/family centered care
• Organize, plan, direct, coordinate and deliver care for a defined group of patients
• Work under the supervision of Clinical Unit Supervisor and follow the Watson Model of Care
