Job summary

Larkin Community Hospital is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the PACU team in Florida. The RN will provide specialized care to patients recovering from anesthesia, requiring strong clinical judgment and effective communication in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Minimum qualifications include an active Florida RN license, ASN/BSN, BLS, and ACLS certifications. Prior PACU or critical care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license.
• ASN or BSN degree required.
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association).
• ACLS Certification (American Heart Association).
• PACU/ICU/ER or Surgical Services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and care for patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures.
• Administer prescribed medications, IV therapy, and treatments.
• Identify and respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, surgical staff, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards.
• Uphold confidentiality and professional nursing standards.
