Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking experienced Per Diem PACU Registered Nurses for the Burlington, MA area. The position supports the Main PACU with float coverage to Ambulatory PACU and offers staggered start times between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM.

You will work within a renowned Boston-area health system emphasizing nurse-patient relationships and continuous high-quality care. Required are a Nursing Diploma/ASN with BSN preferred, MA RN license, BLS, and ACLS if available; 1 year acute care

Qualifications

Nursing Diploma or ASN, BSN preferred.
At least 1 year of nursing experience in acute care or sub-acute setting.
3+ years of Critical Care and Telemetry experience preferred.
Current Massachusetts RN license required.
Current American Heart Association BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
Demonstrate critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills.
Lifting up to 75 lbs with assistance up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

Provide perioperative nursing care for patients in Pre-Admissions Testing and PACU.
Monitor patient status, document assessments and administer medications as per protocol.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure rapid patient turnover and high-quality care.
Support flexible shift options and maintain patient safety and comfort throughout care transitions.
