South Texas Spine & Surgical Hospital is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to provide peri-operative patient care under nursing judgment and regulatory standards. The role supports Pre- and Post-Operative areas and collaborates with nursing leadership on policy implementation.

Requirements include Texas RN license, BLS/ACLS (PALS within 60 days), and 2 years of critical care nursing experience. On-call duties and cross-training across departments are expected in a busy perioperative environment.

Competenze

• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Graduate of a nursing program with current Texas RN license
• BLS & ACLS required or obtained within 30 days; PALS within 60 days of hire
• 2 years of nursing experience required in ICU/ED/Recovery or other critical care environment
• Able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards

Mansioni

• Adheres to staffing schedules and attends to daily assignments
• All full-time RNs participate in On-Call rotation for PACU
• Directs and supervises ancillary staff in pre- and post-operative areas
• Provides direct patient care with clinical competence
• Participates in orientation and quality improvement activities
• Maintains compliant medical records and adheres to safety and service standards
