Job summary

Texas Orthopedic Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse in the PACU to care for surgical patients in the post-anesthesia period and support high-quality, efficient care. You will apply nursing processes with critical thinking and collaborate with the care team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

The role requires an RN license in Texas (or multi-state with Texas licensure within 90 days) and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certification. BSN is preferred, with at least one year of PACU experience.

Qualifications

• PACU nursing experience and current RN license required.
• BSN preferred but not required.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Care for post-anesthesia patients and manage the surgical patient in recovery.
• Apply nursing process with critical thinking and leadership to deliver safe care.
• Collaborate with patient care team to achieve quality outcomes.
