Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC. seeks a Hospital PACU Registered Nurse (RN) in Great Falls, MT to support a perioperative care team. The role emphasizes strong nurse-to-patient ratios, collaborative leadership, and a culture of compassion in an outpatient surgical environment.

Ideal candidates bring ADN with Montana RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and 2–4 years of acute hospital experience. Expect varied shifts from early morning to evening with active post-op care responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ADN required, BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Montana or eligible for endorsement.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required on hire.
• 2–4 years hospital experience in acute medical/surgical or critical care.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Operative assessment, admission and optimization for elective surgeries.
• Phase I recovery monitoring, airway management, and extubation as needed.
• Care for post-op patients with lines, chest tubes and ventilator support.
• Wound/drain surveillance and prevention of post-op complications.
• Titrate IV meds for pain control and PANV; manage warming devices.
• Observe medical and surgical patients in the observation unit.
• Coordinate care plans with providers, anesthesia, and nurses.
• Discharge planning and detailed hand-offs to inpatient units.
