Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a Hospital PACU Registered Nurse to join a surgical services team in Great Falls, MT. This full-time, on-site role emphasizes excellent nurse-to-patient ratios, strong administrative support, and a culture of teamwork and compassion.

Responsibilities include pre-operative assessment, Phase I recovery monitoring, airway management, IV care, wound and line management, pain control, and discharge planning, with varied shifts from 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM and shared

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred).
• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in Montana (or州 eligibility).
• Core certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required on hire.
• 2–4 years recent hospital experience in Medical/Surgical or Critical Care.
• CCU/ICU familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Operative Preparation: assess, admit, and optimize patients for elective procedures.
• Phase I Recovery: monitor and stabilize patients waking from anesthesia; manage airway and breathing.
• Advanced Visual & Device Care: monitor patients with chest tubes, central/arterial lines, short-term ventilation.
• Wound, Line Management: monitor dressings, incisions, drains, and devices.
• Pain control and PANV management: titrate IV meds and manage nausea/vomiting.
• Observation Unit Care: care for observation patients from ED to post-surgical status.
• Collaborative Leadership: coordinate with providers, anesthesia, and nurses; guide LPNs/CNAs.
• Discharge/Transfer Planning: use Aldrete scoring for discharge or hand-offs.
