Job summary

Incredible Health is seeking a PACU RN in Westwood, NJ to provide immediate post-operative care for surgical patients and monitor vital signs.

You will collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists, administer medications, educate families, and maintain compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher in nursing required.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• 1 year PACU/ICU or similar high-acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Proficient with electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs and managing anesthesia-related symptoms.
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU to discharge home.
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Salary: $73,450 to $127,500 /year
