Incredible Health is hiring a PACU Registered Nurse in Boca Raton, FL to provide specialized post-operative care across diverse surgical cases. The role emphasizes vital-sign monitoring, medication administration, and collaboration with surgeons and anesthesia teams to ensure smooth transitions from operating room to PACU and discharge home.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN or higher, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS credentials, with 1 year in PACU/ICU or similar settings.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (ADN) or higher in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year PACU/ICU or similar high-acuity experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a team setting.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care and monitor vital signs in PACU.
• Administer prescribed medications and follow treatment plans.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams for patient transitions.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and potential complications.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital policies.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Cardiac Monitoring, Circulate, Pediatric, Presurgical assessment, Robotic surgery, Transplant, or Wound & drain care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs, and managing symptoms of anesthesia


• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff


• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU to discharge home


• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications


• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures
