Job Summary and Qualifications

What will you be doing?

• Assessing patients comprehensively.
• Managing ongoing clinical care, patient education, medication administration, IV therapy, and venipunctures.
• Promoting cost-effective, quality care within surgical services.
• Maintaining accurate documentation for assessments, care plans, and billing.
• Performing other functions within Surgical Services as needed.

Qualifications needed:

• At least two years of recent acute care nursing experience.
• One year of critical care or PACU experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current Virginia RN licensure or equivalent.
• ACLS within 60 days of start.
• BLS within 30 days of start.
• PALS within 60 days of start.
