Job summary

HCA Florida Capital Hospital is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to provide immediate post-operative care, monitor neurologic and cardiac status, manage airway support, and respond to complications. You will collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams and participate in on-call coverage as discussed during interview.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient education, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment within a 288-bed acute-care facility.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• APRN or RN licensure is required.
• Acute care experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the immediate post-operative period.
• Monitor airway, neurological and cardiac status; respond to complications.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams and participate in on-call coverage.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and follow-up.
