HCA Florida UCF Lake Nona Hospital is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to provide immediate post-operative care for surgical patients in a dynamic, interdisciplinary team. You will manage airway support, neurological and cardiac monitoring, and respond to complications while ensuring patient stability during recovery.

The role involves on-call availability for select non-business hours and collaboration with anesthesia, surgery, and nursing leadership to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifikationen

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
• BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start
• ACLS American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required within 6 months
• PALS American Heart Association PALS Provider issued card required within 6 months
• ASPAN preferred
• 1 year PACU experience required

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in post-operative PACU setting.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams.
• Apply the nursing process with critical thinking and leadership to provide safe care.
• Monitor patient condition, document changes, and communicate updates promptly.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment, and follow-up care
