Job summary

Guadalupe Regional Medical Center in Seguin, TX seeks a Registered Nurse to provide assessment and planning for individualized patient care in perioperative services. You will communicate with physicians, unit directors and coworkers about changes in patient condition or response to treatment, and perform general nursing duties with minimal supervision.

Required: Associate degree or higher in Nursing; Texas RN licensure; BLS; ACLS and PALS within 6 months; immunizations; 1 year experience

Qualifications

Associates or better in Nursing.
Licensure with the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners.
Maintains BLS for Healthcare Providers.
ACLS within 6 months of employment.
PALS within 6 months of employment.
1 year of prior nursing experience preferred.
Immunization Records required.

Responsibilities

Provide assessment and planning for individualized patient care.
Communicate with physicians, unit directors and coworkers about changes in patients' condition or response to treatment.
Perform general nursing duties in acute and outpatient settings with minimal supervision.
Participate in performance improvement activities and core measure compliance.
