Job summary

St. David's Georgetown Hospital in Georgetown, Texas, seeks a PACU Registered Nurse to support immediate post-operative care, airway monitoring, and rapid response to complications.

You will work with surgical and anesthesia teams, provide wound care, and participate in on-call shifts as discussed in interviews. RNs with perioperative/ PACU/ICU/ED experience are encouraged to apply; ACLS/BLS within specified timelines is required, with a 4x8 shift pattern and non-set schedule.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Active RN license required.
• Registered Nurse Diploma required.
• Minimum 3 years perioperative/OPC experience (OPS/PACU/ICU/ED).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care using evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery.
• Apply the nursing process with critical thinking to ensure safe care.
• Assess and document patient condition and changes during shifts.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and follow-up.
