Job summary

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Current RN license with Texas Board of Nursing
• BLS & ACLS required or obtained within 30 days; PALS within 60 days
• 2 years nursing experience in ICU/ER/recovery or other critical care setting

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in PACU; supervise ancillary staff as needed
• Participate in staffing and on-call rotation for PACU
• Assist with risk management, infection control, and performance improvement
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• Document and communicate patient status to physicians and families
