Job summary

The Valley Health System (VHS) is seeking a registered nurse to provide safe, competent patient care in a busy hospital setting. The RN will support the healthcare team, uphold patient-centered care, and ensure high standards of service excellence in daily practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of specialty course or equivalent within 6 months of hire; BSN preferred.
• One-year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in Nevada with BLS; ACLS and additional certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision; demonstrate Service Excellence at all times.
