Job summary

The Valley Health System (VHS) is seeking an RN to provide safe, competent nursing care at Summerlin Hospital, a 496-bed facility in Las Vegas, NV. You will lead the healthcare team and uphold patient-centered care principles across maternity, NICU, pediatric and cardiovascular services.

Prerequisites include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active Nevada RN license, BLS, and department-required ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications. BSN is preferred; pre-employment assessments may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
