Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our nursing team at Summerlin Hospital, a busy, high-acuity facility with strong patient care standards.

Provide safe, competent nursing care, leadership to the healthcare team, and patient-centered service in accordance with hospital policies and philosophy. Nevada RN license, BLS, ACLS required; PALS/NRP as needed; BSN preferred; 1 year acute care experience or acceptable specialty training within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and eligible for RN license in the state.
• One year acute care experience or completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in the state; BLS; ACLS; PALS/NRP as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision; demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
