Job summary

The Valley Health System (VHS) seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide safe, competent patient care in a busy hospital setting. You will lead and support the healthcare team, delivering patient-centered care in alignment with facility policies and philosophy.

Ideal candidates hold an active Nevada RN license with current BLS; PALS or NRP as required by department, and BSN is preferred. A strong commitment to service excellence is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• One-year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of Nevada.
• Current BLS Certification; PALS (pediatric) or NRP (neonatal) as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and standards.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision and demonstrates Service Excellence standards.
