Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse in PACU to provide immediate post-operative care, monitor neurologic and cardiac status, and support the surgical and anesthesia teams. The role includes on-call availability and collaboration with RN float pool resources to ensure patient stability during recovery.

Responsibilities include wound care, airway management, and education for patients and families. ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications are required within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• PACU experience preferred.
• On Call availability required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while applying evidence-based practices.
• Be an integral member of a dynamic interdisciplinary team with providers and therapy staff.
• Consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking, and leadership to deliver safe nursing care.
• Assess patient condition, monitor changes, and document thoroughly.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and follow-up.
