Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU to provide immediate postoperative care. You will work with the surgical and anesthesia teams, manage airway support, and monitor neurological and cardiac status, including on-call availability for select hours.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient education, and collaboration with nurses, technicians, and leaders to support improved patient outcomes and nursing input within the hospital's care teams.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas
• ACLS and BLS certifications required or within specified windows
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher with RN licensure

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered postoperative care in PACU
• Monitor airway, neurological and cardiac status; respond to complications
• Collaborate with surgical/anesthesia teams and educate patients/families
