Covenant HealthCare is seeking a POHA/PACU RN to validate patient information, prepare patients for surgery, and assess post-procedure status. You will coordinate care, administer medications, document data, and mentor staff in a high-volume surgical unit.

Requirements include RN license in Michigan, BLS, ACLS within 3 months, NIHSS and PALS within specified timelines, and PACU/critical care experience. CPAN certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing Degree from an accredited school.
• License to practice RN in Michigan.
• BLS required, ACLS within 3 months, NIHSS within 3 months, PALS within 6 months.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in a critical care area (PACU/OR/ICU/ER).
• Recent surgical patient experience preferred.
• CPAN certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop a care plan.
• Administer medications per hospital policy and ensure safety.
• Monitor and interpret lab and diagnostic results.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document data for continuity of care on all records.
• Provide education and mentorship to nursing staff.
