Job summary

Garden City Hospital in Michigan seeks a PACU Registered Nurse to join the surgical services team. You will deliver patient care in the PACU and coordinate post-operative care with surgeons and anesthesiologists while guiding other staff to maintain high standards.

Requirements include a current RN license, BLS and ACLS within 30 days of hire; PACU or critical care experience is preferred. BSN is preferred; CCRN is a plus. This is a full-time, day-shift role with a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• PACU or Critical Care experience preferred.
• BSN preferred; CCRN a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the PACU using the nursing process.
• Coordinate post-operative care with surgeon and anesthesiologist.
• Direct and guide other personnel while maintaining standards of care.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities.
