Job summary

Good Shepherd Health Care System in Hermiston, OR is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the PACU, specializing in perioperative care, to support pre- and post-anesthesia phases.

Qualifications

• Assoc. degree in nursing required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes nursing assessments in pre and postoperative care.
• Performs patient admissions according to hospital standards.
• Initiate and manage intravenous access.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes.
• Administer medications and assess effectiveness.
• Educate patients and families on perioperative plan of care.
• Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing staff.
• Maintain infection prevention and safety protocols.
