Job summary

Good Shepherd Health Care in Hermiston, OR, seeks a Registered Nurse specialized in perioperative care for PACU with day shift responsibilities. You will perform pre- and post-anesthesia nursing activities, monitor patient status, and collaborate with anesthesia to ensure quality care.

The role includes on-call duties for PACU and requires adherence to safety and privacy standards. Ideal candidates have ADN with Oregon RN licensure; BSN preferred, and certifications in sedation and advanced IV

Qualifications

• Requires ADN/ASN with RN licensure in Oregon.
• Preferred BSN or higher.
• Current RN License in Oregon with BLS/PALS/ACLS; TNCC.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-anesthesia nursing assessments.
• Manage admissions and IV access.
• Monitor vitals and patient status; report changes to medical staff.
