Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a competent Nursing Assistant to support patients in the perioperative and recovery areas in Plymouth, MN. You will assist RNs, document vital signs, and help with activities of daily living while ensuring patient safety and privacy.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting, and adherence to hospital policies. Training in sterile technique and basic nursing procedures will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required and basic medical terminology understood.
• Accurate order entry and documentation are essential.
• Experience in perioperative or recovery areas is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN in preoperative and postoperative areas; document vitals and monitor data.
• Perform EKGs, collect lab specimens, and assist with sterile procedures as trained.
• Support patient activities of daily living and ensure safety and confidentiality.
