Job summary

Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, Kansas is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support the PACU Recovery Room team. You will assist with vital signs, mobility, and personal care alongside Registered Nurses to promote safe, comfortable patient recovery.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, transfers, non-medicated care, keeping spaces clean, managing supplies, and communicating with patients and families. BLS certification required within 30 days of start date.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support/CPR certification required within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery.
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection.
• Keep patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality.
