Job summary

ADP, Inc. seeks a PACU – Recovery Lounge Assistant to support nursing staff in a hospital setting. You will assist with patient care as needed, including performing EKGs, help with activities of daily living, and discharge patients to their cars when asked.

You will also assist in stocking recovery areas and keeping the lounge clean and organized. In this role you must be able to lift and move equipment and patients, communicate effectively with the care team, and participate in scheduled

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
• Excellent physical and mental health: walking, standing, lifting, moving equipment and patients required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care as needed, including performing EKGs.
• Accept laundry delivery and put away as necessary.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Provide transportation of specimens to Frozen Section lab.
• Assist in discharge of patients from the facility.
• Clean beds and transfer to Holding Area as needed.
• Maintain stock in PACU, Recovery Lounge and associated areas.
• Assist with weekly cleaning and inventory tasks as directed.
• Open, unload, and distribute freight; other duties as assigned.
