Job summary

Mercy Health in Boardman, Ohio, is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver exceptional patient care across pre-op, intra-op and post-op phases. You will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to assess patient needs, prioritize care, and ensure a safe, healing environment within a high-acuity surgical setting.

The role requires RN licensure, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and a willingness to meet ongoing certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS/ACLS or PALS certification; required within 6 months if applicable.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Two years RN experience in Critical Care (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Observe and assist the surgical team to ensure a safe environment.
• Manage nursing care within the OR and coordinate with other providers.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care including discharge instructions.
