Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room for St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital in Boardman, Ohio.

The role is 32 hours per week with all shifts and centers on delivering high-quality perioperative care in a dynamic surgical setting. Responsibilities include collaborating with the care team, assessing patients, guiding the surgical team, and delivering comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-operative care with a focus on patient safety and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS/ACLS or PALS preferred at hire.
• CNOR and SGNA preferred, not required.
• Two years of RN experience in Critical Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Observe surgery and assist to maintain a safe environment.
• Manage OR nursing care and coordinate with other care providers.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op and post-op care and discharge instructions.
