Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Lincoln Surgery Center in Parker, Colorado is seeking a PreOp PACU Nurse to deliver safe postoperative care until discharge and uphold a family‑like approach to patient care.

You will prepare the care area, manage airways, monitor vital signs, insert and care for IVs, perform head‑to‑toe assessments, check dressings, verify discharge criteria, and create a safe, comforting environment for patients and families.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required
• 1+ years in a clinical setting
• ACLS within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Prepare the patient’s care area and ensure equipment is available
• Demonstrate airway management techniques
• Monitor patients per policy (vital signs, temp, cardiac)
• Insert, maintain, and remove IV catheters
• Perform head-to-toe evaluation using approved scoring
• Check dressings and report abnormalities to surgeon
• Provide a safe and comforting environment for patients and families
• Ensure patients meet discharge criteria
