Job summary

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• PACU experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• BSN preferred but not required.
• Ability to work per diem schedule and collaborate with OR team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in the PACU using nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinate postoperative care with surgeons and anesthesiologists.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians; ensure safety and quality of care.
• Collaborate with units and departments to maintain patient flow and standards.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and staff training.
