Job summary

Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, PA seeks a skilled PACU RN to join our perioperative team. You will deliver patient care through the nursing process, coordinate post-operative recovery with surgeons and anesthesiologists, and communicate changes in patient condition to clinicians.

Requirements include a current state RN license, BLS, ACLS within 30 days, and prior PACU or critical care experience. BSN preferred; this per diem role offers daily shifts and a collaborative, patient-centered

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Critical Care or PACU experience or minimum of one year on the job training.
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• The PACU RN delivers patient care through the nursing process for all patients within the PACU scope.
• Coordinates post-operative care with the surgeon and anesthesiologist.
• Directs and guides other personnel while maintaining standards of care in the PACU.
• Communicates changes in patient condition to physicians and other staff.
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities and unit meetings.
