Job summary

Equiliem is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the PACU team in Warwick, Rhode Island. The RN will monitor recovery from anesthesia, manage pain, and coordinate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort after procedures.

Required certifications include BLS and ACLS, plus PACU experience. Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills and flexibility for 5–8 hour shifts with on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• Current BLS Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification.
• Previous PACU experience required.
• Ability to work 5–8 hour shifts and on-call.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs and level of consciousness post-surgery.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide post-operative care and pain management.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and the team.
• Ensure a safe, clean recovery environment.
• Document all patient care activities promptly.
