Brown University Health is seeking an experienced perioperative nurse at Rhode Island Hospital. You will provide intensive nursing care from preoperative assessment through post-anesthesia recovery, coordinating with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure safe patient care.

The role requires Rhode Island RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS certification, and 1 year of relevant critical care or PACU experience. On-site, evening shifts, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifikationen

• Rhode Island RN licensure required.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certification; ACLS/PALS within 1 year for new hires.
• 1 year of adult PACU/CCU or pediatric critical care/equivalent experience.

Aufgaben

• Provide professional peri-operative nursing care.
• Review charts, administer meds, start IVs, monitor vitals.
• Assist in planning and implementing nursing care plans.
• Assist in preop assessment and education.
• Admit to PACU, monitor recovery, and communicate with physicians.
