Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking Advanced Practice Providers to join the PACU team at Massachusetts General Hospital. The full-time role features 40 hours per week with 13-hour day/evening shifts, Monday through Saturday, in a high-acuity perioperative setting.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree Nursing or Physician Assistant required.
• 2 years of NP/PA experience required.
• Active MA licensure as NP or PA; ACLS certification required.
• Certification as NP by national body or NCCPA for PA.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care and patient education in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and procedural settings.
• Performs complete histories and physical examinations.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develops care plans and follow-up based on findings.
• Documents admission, progress, and discharge notes accurately.
• Performs bedside procedures as appropriate for the patient population.
• Orders medications and writes prescriptions per policies.
