Job summary

Mass General Brigham Community Physicians, Inc. is seeking a per diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to cover for full-time APPs across the perioperative continuum. The role targets about 10 hours per month minimum, with potential for 24 hours per month based on needs.

Clinicians may be assigned to sites in Chestnut Hill, Boston, Newton or other Mass General Brigham locations, onsite only. Salary is hourly, with a range from $59.04 to $83.59 per hour and comprehensive benefits as

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing required.
• 2 years of licensed NP experience; 1-2 years required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care, counseling, and education to diverse patient populations in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and procedural settings.
• Perform complete histories and physical examinations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develop care plans and follow-up based on diagnostic results.
• Prescribe medications per policies and procedures.
• Maintain timely medical documentation, including notes and discharge summaries.
• Perform bedside procedures as appropriate.
