Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a Patient Care Assistant for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at 267 Charles Street in Boston. The role supports licensed staff and delivers essential patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, completing medical records, assisting with daily living activities, and communicating concerns to nurses. Weekend shifts are required and a sign-on bonus may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Experience in patient care/elder care is optional but helpful.
• Proficient computer skills to work with electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs, weights, and measurements.
• Document in the medical record accurately and timely.
• Interact with patients and families in a respectful, compassionate manner.
• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, feeding).
• Help reposition patients in bed and assist with mobility as needed.
• Identify patient concerns and report to nurses for escalation.
