Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active RN license in Virginia or eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years PACU RN experience preferred
• Certifications: BLS for Healthcare Providers, ACLS, NIHSS

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient health assessments by interpreting data and forming care plans
• Supports and guides patients and families through care transitions
• Advocates for patients while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Documents care activities accurately and maintains records per standards
• Maintains ongoing professional development with at least six formal contact hours annually
