Job summary

The Physicians Centre in Bryan, TX seeks an experienced perianesthesia nurse to lead and provide direct care across the age continuum in the Pre-Post operative setting. Under the CNO, you will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.

You may serve as Charge nurse, supervise PACU/pre-operative staff, and float to other areas as needed. On-call duties rotate weekdays, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Directs and provides professional perianesthesia nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum.
• May serve as Charge nurse and supervise PACU/pre-operative staff as directed by the CNO.
• Willingness to float to other patient care areas as needed.
• Take call for weekdays, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.
• Must maintain current Texas RN license and BLS; ACLS and PALS within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities
