Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current Texas nursing license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• De-escalation training within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within 3 months after hire (preferred).
• 100% score on medication test; remediation available.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and evaluates an age-appropriate plan of care utilizing the nursing process.
• Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members and directs nursing staff.
• Provides leadership and supports patient-centered care and safety initiatives.
• Ensures staffing adequacy based on census, acuity, and resources.
