Job summary

The Physicians Centre in Bryan, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Pre-Op and PACU to deliver direct perianesthesia care across all ages under the CNO. The role includes applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in the pre- and post-operative settings.

The position is full-time and on-site, with opportunities to float to other areas as needed and to participate in rotating on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Current Texas RN licensure.
• BLS certification, renewed every 2 years.
• ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of employment.
• Ability to relate and work effectively with others.
• Fluent in English for safe patient care and charting.
• PACU/ambulatory/critical care or general nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional perianesthesia nursing care in Pre-Op and PACU across ages.
• Direct or assist with care under the CNO; supervise as assigned.
• Float to other patient care areas as needed.
• Take rotating on-call duties for weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
